2013 Christmas Cards

I waited to post these until after Christmas so that those who received them would still be surprised. (lol)
I decided to use an old CTMH stamp set (B1313 Merry Pursuits).  I love the little elves and they reminded me of my boys.  Using Copic markers (0, R29, G05, E50, B00, Y08, B24, 100) to color them in.  I then used my 2 1/8" Fiskars punch, to punch them out.
I wanted to use the Mosaic Moments RTC (ready to cut) paper for my cards and these images fit just perfect.  And the final product was that much easier since I already had plenty of 1" squares precut (see previous blog post).
They went together quick and easy, I mounted each RTC card to coordinating paper and adhered to the front of a card.

 Copic Markers Used:
0- over stamped image
100-ice skate legs
B00- highlight on snowballs
R29 & G05- elves clothes
E50- skin
Y08 & B24 Christmas lights

So, getting my scrapping area organized and put away for the holidays, I decided to tackle those bins of paper scraps that I can't bear to throw away.  I know I can use them for something, I tell myself frequently.  So I sat down last night to watch ABC Family's 25 days of Christmas movie and took out my 1" square punch and Ta-Da! 3-bins to 1 case.  I am so ready for more mosaic moments projects, my 1" squares are already cut and sorted by color!
Did I mention that I have been selected for the 2014 Mosaic Moments Design Team?!  I found out last week and have been overjoyed!  I can't wait to get started.  I will be posting my MMDT2014 challenges here as well as Journella (http://www.journella.com/ ) and our Scrappigators site and facebook page, so keep your eyes open for further posts!

So I decided on Thanksgiving day to challenge myself to take pictures and finish a 2-page Mosaic Moments layout.  I was up, caffeinated and inspired!  I had put together the layout probably 2 years ago without journaling or pictures, with just November inspired colors.  Needless to say I finished.  I put the final touches on it today and it's ready to post!  I left early Friday morning for a 2 day shopping trip with my mom and sister, otherwise I would have finished in less then 24 hrs.  Enjoy!
